Estrella is an 18-year-old girl who aspires to be an astronomer. Her biggest dream is to work for S.T.A.R, a NASA equivalent of her world. She is quite reserved and introverted, as well as a workaholic who doesn’t get enough sleep.
Arxie is an androgynous (identified as male), humanoid being who declares himself as Estrella’s personal caretaker and guardian. His species is dubbed as “the ghosts”; heavenly-looking creatures who aid those silent individuals in need. He is closely related to the moon and may be an essential character in the story…
Pochi is Estrella’s beloved unicorn pet. It descended from the sky after a huge shooting star rain, seemingly looking for something. Although it may look and act like a beagle puppy, it is quite intelligent and rational, and it protects Estrella at all costs. It also looks like it has a strange but close bond with Arxie.
Her long, flowy hair gives her a very interesting silhouette to play with. Personally I am a big fan of rubberhose limbs with oversized clothing, both of which are the main inspirations for her body shape. All of the star elements, except for the earrings, play a very important role in her story that won’t be disclosed yet ; )
His horn is for pure aesthetics, as his appearance is intended to be ethereal and otherworldly. There are a lot of moon elements hidden in his design, such as the mark on his face or the moon ornament decorating his forehead. His main design inspiration is Greek mythology and a dash of unicorn aspects, although he is in no way a creature related to equids.
Its design is cute and appealing: a big head, thick limbs and a big fluffy tail. Its very simple palette allows it to stand out in any kind of scenario, giving it an opalescent kind of aura that turns it into a mystical being, while it is often looked down on as a simple pet.
